First, log in to your router control panel. If you’re not sure how to do this, check your router’s documentation or contact your ISP.
Next, open the VPN tab (1) and click on the “Add a profile” button (2).
Enter the following information:
Profile Name: ExpressVPN
Server Address: Enter aExpressVPN server address here. You can find these in the “server list” section of your account dashboard.
Transmission Protocol: Select UDP
Authentication Type: SelectStatic Key
Static Key: Copy and paste the shared key from your account dashboard here
Click “Save/Apply” (3) when you are finished. Your router is now configured for ExpressVPN!
One way is to simply reboot your router. This will cause the ExpressVPN connection to be dropped and you’ll be able to surf the web without VPN protection.
Another way is to log into your router’s administration panel and find the section for VPN connections. From here, you should be able to disable the ExpressVPN connection or even remove it entirely.
Once you’ve disconnected from ExpressVPN, you’ll be able to browse the internet as usual without any restrictions. You can always reconnect at any time by following the same steps that you used to originally set up the connection.

Once you have the firmware downloaded, you’ll need to connect your Linksys router to the internet. After the router is connected, you can go ahead and install the ExpressVPN firmware.
After the firmware is installed, you’ll need to connect to the router running ExpressVPN. Once you’re connected, you can complete the setup on the router.
