1. Start by going to the WatchGuard login page (https://www.watchguard.com/login). You will need your registered email address and password.
2. Once logged in, click on the “Network” tab at the top of the screen and select “VPN Manager” from the drop-down menu that appears.
3. On the VPN Manager page, click on the “Add a new tunnel” button in order to set up your new VPN connection.
4. In the Add Tunnel dialog box that appears, enter a name for your tunnel and then select the type of tunnel you want to create (IPSec, PPTP, or L2TP). For this example we will choose IPSec.
5. Click on the “Configure” button next to your selected tunnel type in order to continue setting up your connection.
6. In the IPSec Configuration dialog box that appears, enter the following information:
- LocalGW: The public IP address or hostname of your local WatchGuard firewall
- RemoteGW: The public IP address or hostname of the remote VPN server you are connecting to
- Shared Secret: A pre-shared key used for authentication purposes
- Auth Method: Choose either PSK or Certificate (if using a digital certificate)
- Phase 1 Proposal: Select an Encryption algorithm (DES, 3DES, AES128, etc.), Authentication method (MD5 or SHA1), Diffie Hellman Group (MODP768, MODP1024),and Lifetime value
- Phase 2 Proposal: Select an Encryption algorithm (DES, 3DES, AES128), Authentication method (MD5 or SHA1), and PFS Group MODP1024)
7. When you have finished entering all of the required information above click on OK in order to save your changes and close out of this dialog box.. Now click onOK again in order when asked if you want t oactivate these settings nows
Click “OK” to save your changes and then click “Connect.” Your VPN connection will now be established!

To connect to a VPN, log in with your work credentials (username and password). You may be prompted to install a VPN client app. Once the app is installed, launch it and sign in. After you’re signed in, select the server location that you want to connect to. Your device will now be connected to the VPN.
